Visit to Protestant Kindergarten
Yelda Bryant, president of the Baumholder Community Spouses Club, center, and Juliane Rech, director of the German Protestant Kindergarten, are surrounded by children using some of the equipment and toys donated to the kindergarten by the Baumholder Community Spouses Club. Bryant along with Michael Roehrig, first assistant city mayor; Christian Flohr, second assistant city mayor; Command Sgt. Major Augustus Wah, U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder command sergeant major; Peter Lang, Baumholder city and district mayor; Lt. Col. Sam McAdoo, U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder commander; and Susanne McAdoo visited the kindergarten Jan. 31 to see how the children were enjoying their new toys and equipment. Indoor equipment included tricycles, colorful chairs and giant building blocks, sheep shaped benches and more.

Visit to Catholic Kindergarten
Children from the German Catholic Kindergarten pose on some of the equipment donated to the kindergarten by the Baumholder Community Spouses Club. Yelda Bryant, president of the Baumholder Community Spouses Club, visited the kindergarten Jan. 31 to meet the kindergarten staff and see how the children were enjoying their new toys and equipment. The donation consisted of indoor and outdoor playing equipment. Some of the indoor equipment included tricycles, colorful chairs, xylophones, steel drums and more. Garrison and city officials accompanying Bryant were: Lt. Col. Sam McAdoo, U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder commander; Susanne McAdoo; Peter Lang, Baumholder city and district mayor; Michael Roehrig, first assistant city mayor; Christian Flohr, second assistant city mayor; and Command Sgt. Major Augustus Wah, U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder command sergeant major. Also in the photo are Maria Roth, director of the German Catholic Kindergarten; Matthias Schmitz, Catholic priest and other kindergarten staff members.
